My name is Natalie Deela
I'm a lifestyle portrait and wedding/elopement photographer living in Denison, TX. Since officially opening my business in 2022, I've had the honor of documenting countless love stories, families, and milestones. Over the years, I've grown from simply loving photography to mastering the craft and I am so grateful to be able to offer a professional experience that's heartfelt, intentional, and timeless.
Why I chose film
Alongside my digital work, I've recently introduced film photography and videography into my offerings. Film is a slower, more intentional process. Every roll has a limited number of frames, which means each moment is chosen with care and intention. The result is imagery that feels organic, nostalgic, and one-of-a-kind. Because film can capture light and color differently than digital, it adds depth and character to your story that can't be replicated. Think of it as not just documenting your memories, but creating keepsakes that carry the same warmth and texture you felt in the moment.

My Story
I have been in love with art for as long as I can remember and in every form it has taken. As a child, I lived in stories and colors; reading under blankets, filling journals with tales of another life, painting until everything I touched was stained. I put on endless performances for my family, twirling through the living room, strutting down the hallway as if it were a runway, scripting plays to perform on the front porch when everyone was annoyed with me. Namely, my sisters. I had always been chasing beauty in the smallest of corners, the way sunlight pooled on the floor or how the dust seemed to dance in the air. Noticing, the unnoticed, the minute details of the mundane and holding onto them as if they were the biggest treasures.
I've been told a time or two that I carry an old soul. I always find myself in a place among weathered people, with stories etched into their faces, soaking in the way they speak of love, loss, and life. Listening to the richness of their lives, never monetarily, but emotionally and full of experiences, and depth. Documenting all of it as best I could, by diaries, by birthday cards, notes, and just by anything that would remind me of a memory or story I considered to be a special moment in my life. After my favorite weathered person passed, all I could think about was how I wish I had done more, done anything and everything to have more of them still with me. Which led me into photography, the thread that tied all my love for the arts into one.
Photography IS my art and how I express myself to the world.
I want my art to feel like nostalgia you can hold, like flipping through a well-worn photo album at your grandma's house. The kind where the corners are bent, the colors are a little soft, and each images tells a story you can feel in your chest.
I am not chasing perfect poses or flawless frames, although there will always be a few mixed in. I am chasing real. The messy hair, the crooked smiles, the way a hand rest gently on another. I want my work to be a true reflection of my subjects, their body language, their emotions, and the quiet in-between moments that say everything without a word.
Every image is meant to feel like memory you are reliving. to make you pause and think, I remember that. To remind you of the love, gratitude, and beauty that has always been there, sometimes in ways you did not notice until now.
Life is all about you, your family and dear friends. Be your true self. Show your fun, quirky personality. Do the things that make you happy. Laugh loudly. Kiss slowly. Hug tightly.
